Major Programs and Events
1. Leaders of Tomorrow
Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) are a program currently composed of local high school students and mentors who focus on empowerment and enrichment. The students, called “leaders,” attend lectures and workshops conducted by various professional, academic, and community leaders. The mentors guide the students through the program, which is designed to help them develop critical skill-sets and attitudes necessary for academic and professional success.
2. The Economic Development Initiative
The Economic Development Initiative (EDI) program is a series of seminars designed to give entrepreneurs and business owners the tools to succeed at business. The Chapter utilizes its membership to host and conduct the seminars. The Chapter helps to create the next generation of business leaders in addition to enhancing the knowledge of today’s entrepreneurs and business owners.
3. Annual Scholarship Banquet
The Annual Scholarship Banquet brings together our members, corporate and community partners, and corporate employers and employees in order to recognize our collegiate writing scholarship winner(s) and to highlight the LOT program.
