Community Outreach

The Community Outreach team works to provide members the opportunity to participate in local community based service projects. Each month, members partake in activities throughout the community. We recently volunteered with the NO HIV/AIDS taskforce in New Orleans distributing pamphlets on the subject. In May, we will participate in the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.

The community affairs strategic focus is to partner and collaborate with various organizations such as Communities in schools and other non-profit organizations to meet the needs within the community. This is just one of the ways in which the Chapter strives to be a catalyst for change in the community.
